This role will be based in one of our Denmark Manufacturing sites and has been created to deliver Workforce Administration services to the Convatec enterprise as part of an international team of delivery experts. People Advisor will be responsible for the successful delivery of HR Operations services and have the opportunity to play a role in defining, improving, and supporting our new HR Operating Model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support HR Operations processes, such as hirings, terminations, promotions, personal data changes, employment verifications, absences;

  • Act as the first point of contact for supporting colleagues in resolving queries about HR Operations processes, their time and pay and reply to day-to-day HR related enquiries, triaged and referred to other teams and colleagues as necessary;

  • Support other tasks locally in Denmark related to HR operations;

  • Manage shared mailboxes for employees/Denmark Government requests;

  • Support time management and payroll processes such as pay queries, time entry and approval, time off and absence requests;

  • Play an active role in knowledge management, by reviewing, updating, publishing, retiring, and monitoring the use of published HR information (policies, user guides, knowledge articles etc.);

  • Build and improve knowledge base to allow our colleagues to “self-serve” HR information;

  • Participate in the drive for continuous improvement for the HR Operation processes and support the implementation of solutions when necessary;

  • Support new implementation activities (eg.: projects, testing different scenarios and working instructions);

  • Assist with internal communications/ relationships with relevant departments;

  • Keep up to date with legislation and how it may affect Convatec as well as developments in payroll platform;

  • Engage with other teams when interpretation and translation tasks are required.

Who will you be working with:

  • You will be part of the Service Delivery Team and collaborate closely with other HR service teams:  Resources Information System (HRIS), HR Business Partners, Regional People Partners, IT provisioning and access, Finance, Managers and Employees.

Skills & Experience:  

  • 3-5 years of experience in customer-facing and HR operations;

  • Excellent computer skills, including MS 365 and MS Teams;

  • Previous experience using HR systems and customer service tools (Workday, Service Now, Promark, SAP for Purchase Orders/Requisitions);

  • Experience in international or shared services environment in a customer facing role, preferably in HR, with experience in supporting payroll and time management;

  • Soft skills: strong communication, adaptability to different styles and levels, analytical mindset, customer focus, attention to detail;

  • Appetite to problem solve and to contribute to the optimisation of processes and ways of working;

  • Proactivity and an “own it” mindset;

  • Proven experience in continuous improvement initiatives;

  • Ability to thrive in an environment of ambiguity and change;

  • A customer-first mindset to fit with our “forever caring” brand.

Languages

  • High proficiency in English and Danish (Spoken, Written and Read).

Working conditions

  • We support a hybrid working approach and you will be working 4 day/week in our Denmark Manufacturing site.
