Job Description

For our head office in Leidschendam, the Netherlands, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Process Improvement Specialist to join our Global Finance Operations team.

The Business Process Improvement Specialist supports the Finance Operations Transformation Manager and Business Process Owners (BPOs) in diagnosing and optimizing end-to-end processes. The role focuses on enhancing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness within the finance function by analyzing existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions.

Your role

  • You will analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, conduct end-to-end process reviews and diagnostics, and develop and implement process improvement strategies.

  • You will collaborate with BPOs and project teams to ensure successful execution of improvement initiatives, monitor the impact of process changes, and prepare and present reports on process improvement progress and outcomes.

  • Additionally, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback and facilitate workshops and meetings to drive process improvement initiatives.

What you bring

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration;

  • You have advanced experience in business process improvement, finance operations, or a related field, and intermediate experience in working in project teams;

  • Relevant certifications in process improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) are a plus;

  • You have advanced skills in process analysis and diagnosis;

  • Proficiency in financial software and stakeholder management is also necessary;

  • Proficiency in English is required;
