Job Description Summary:

As a Junior Recruiter on the Talent Acquisition Team, you will be a highly motivated individual who is responsible for supporting the recruitment efforts focused on the day to day strategic goals of West Tennessee Healthcare. This position executes responsibilities in the areas of recruitment and sourcing, resume review/phone screens, tracking/organizing data integrating general Human Resource duties. The Junior Recruiter must have a talent for engaging and interacting with others.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Review applications and source top candidates to the recruitment team
  • Understand job description requirements and minimum qualifications needed for a broad range of system positions
  • Use sourcing tools and techniques to identify and attract candidates such as online social networking, traditional networking, searches, and referrals
  • Support the Talent team with launching hiring campaigns and attend hiring events.
  • Scheduling interviews for the recruitment team
  • Coordinates start date for new hires in accordance with New Hire Notification form and Human Resource Action Request form
  • Ensure all onboarding paperwork is received and processed to meet orientation deadline for all new hires
  • Ability to exercise efficient judgment, confidentiality, sensitivity and creatively to changing needs and situations
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships in the course of work
  • Proficient in the use of various recruitment resources to help Talent team build a candidate pipeline
  • Team-oriented and willing to contribute to the overall workflow of the department
  • Extremely organized, detailed oriented and a self-starter
  • Ability to execute and prioritize multi-task projects
  • Order background checks and monitor pre-employment clearances needed for all new hires

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

  • Associates degree preferred with experience in working in a talent acquisition environment, related experience in working with human resources will be considered.  

LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION:

  • None  

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 1 year of experience with supporting a recruitment team preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in working with an applicant tracking system software and job recruiting software highly desired
  • Understanding of general hiring practices
