About This Opportunity 

This role involves collaborating with the Career Development Team, Student Enrichment and Employability Development, and other key stakeholders to enhance career services. As the Industry Lead within the Career Development Team, this role will connect industry and students through building mutually beneficial partnerships with employer organisations. With a high attention to detail, strong administrative skills, and an ability to develop rapport with diverse stakeholders, this role will lead industry engagement within the team and draw upon evidence-informed analysis to deliver recommendations for continuous enhancement.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Analyse data to inform program offerings, respond to student/staff/industry queries, and develop evaluative reports.

  • Liaise with industry contacts, and internal stakeholders to develop mutually beneficial partnerships and scope business development opportunities.

  • Review job submissions, and act as a primary point of contact for student, staff and industry queries via the CRM.

  • Develop and streamline business processes, maintain accurate records, and contribute to reporting on program reach and impact.

  • Support students at Career Development events (e.g., Resume Reviews, Recruitment Essentials Day etc.).

  • Use university systems to maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting on the reach and impact of industry services.

  • Lead industry engagement for Career Development events such as Employability Week, Careers Expo, Recruitment Essentials Day etc.

About You  

  • Hold a relevant degree/diploma or demonstrate equivalent experience in a related field.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate an ability to identify sources, analyse data, develop reports, draft documents and integrate information from a variety of sources accurately and timely. 

  • Demonstrate proficiency in CRM systems (Oracle RightNow, StudentHub).

  • Exhibit strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
