About Us

Isometric is the world’s most trusted carbon registry. We issue scientifically rigorous carbon credits to help Fortune 100 companies avoid greenwashing while tackling climate change.

Our customers include Google, Meta, J.P. Morgan, McKinsey and Microsoft.

We're growing quickly, but we’re intentional about hiring people who contribute to our unique culture. Our team is smart, meticulous and courageous—but warm, kind and supportive too.

We’re looking for doers with a bias to action. If you want to join a company that gets important stuff done quickly, with no drama—then let us know.

Tackling climate change at Isometric is a career-defining role.

Working here will be unlike any job you've had before.

About the role

Join our growth function as a Partnerships Manager to build and manage relationships with carbon removal (CDR) suppliers, contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions, and collaborate with world-class scientists to combat climate change head-on. Join us in paving the way for a sustainable future.

You will…

  • Discuss technical, often scientific, topics with external audiences.

  • Build relationships with a range of carbon removal suppliers and take ownership of contract negotiations from start to finish.

  • Track all the CDR suppliers within the removal pathways you lead on (e.g. enhanced weathering), ensuring we know what everyone is doing and develop strategies for how best to position ourselves.

  • Bring insights gathered from supplier interactions into Isometric's protocol development, ensuring our rigorous scientific requirements are balanced with practical realities.

  • Support ongoing improvement of our supplier onboarding and relationship management processes.

  • Coordinate between Isometric team members across different divisions (Science, Growth, Technology) to identify and address blockers to working with target suppliers.

You have…

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and driving high-stakes partnerships, particularly in environments that require innovative and strategic thinking.

  • Proven ability to effectively navigate the multiple different stakeholders in an external organization.

  • Aptitude for quickly diving into complex topics and gaining a strong enough understanding to credibly discuss them with technical audiences, such as scientists.

  • Strong communication, inter-personal, and negotiation skills.

  • Desirable: experience leading and closing commercial negotiations.

  • Desirable: experience in carbon markets or adjacent sectors.

  • STEM academic background.

  • The right to work in the US.

This role might not be for you if

  • You don’t like note taking, pipeline reviews or CRM hygiene. Attention to detail and rigor are critical for success here.

  • You’re looking for a fully remote role at the moment. In the early stages of building our product we’re optimizing for being physically together 3 days a week.

  • You enjoy structure and only staying within your area of expertise. We’re a small team early on the journey and things change quickly as we learn more.

  • You prefer a slower pace. While the problem we’re facing has a long time horizon, it’s also critical that we make meaningful progress on it today, not next quarter or year.
