INTRODUCTION

We are looking for Managers in our Public Service group, focusing on the advisory and delivery of complex new IT related projects.

The Public Service practice helps public sector organisations such as EU and Belgian governmental institutions to embrace innovation and transform fast, enabling them to operate smarter, achieve more and deliver improved services for citizens. Public Service is a welcoming community which performs both sales and delivery-related tasks for our business and our clients.

Your job

As a Manager, you will lead teams working on challenging projects at the intersection of business and IT for public sector organisations such as EU and Belgian governmental institutions. In driven teams, you will develop innovative solutions that help them become ‘high-performance’ organizations. Typical short-term projects entail advising on AI, cloud, or IT strategy. Longer projects allow you to contribute to the implementation of large-scale IT systems with wide-reaching impact within the European Union.

You will work with cutting edge technology, or you will smartly apply proven technologies. In addition, you will have the knowledge and expertise of our global network at your disposal. You will join a team of talented consultants and will operate from our brand-new office in Brussels or the office of the customer.

Your background

Our H&PS colleagues typically have the following competences:

• Completed University Master’s degree preferably in computer science, engineering, information technology or related field.
• EU-Citizenship
• At least 5 years of consulting experience, preferably within the public service domain
• Professional proficiency in English, and French or Dutch
• Analytical and commercial mindset and ability to shape and story-tell client value propositions
• Quick-learner, able to think outside of the box and to reinvent him/herself
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Passion for maximizing the business value of IT
