We are looking for a Product Manager at Director level to join the team to continue the design, build and the evolution / roll out of the Derivatives products and services supporting Middle Office and Fund Accounting.
This is a key role managing within the Middle Office team who broadly set the strategy and providing direction, leadership and budgetary management, etc. This role will support the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating product lines through product life-cycles in coordination with the broader Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the evolution and roll out of the Complex Assets products focused on OTC derivatives operating model, platforms used, instruments supported, valuation model and vendor oversight, new instrument and client onboarding. Analytics and data mapping will be a critical component of this role to help the team deliver on the data roadmap, product development, launch, and marketing.
Managing a part of the book of work which is likely to be global you will develop product roadmaps, partner with tech and operations, report program updates and ensure the financial discipline of the business and book of work always aligns to the approved budgets. You will assist with appropriately assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Responsibilities

Socialize future state vision with all other Citi partners and clients.
Develop a data strategy for the business and drive the execution of that vision with Product, Tech, Ops and Clients
Own the Fund Services portfolio of work including the budget and prioritization process with our technology vendors.
Spearhead and lead Agile initiatives and dynamically create agile squads.
Partner with our Securities Services Transformation team to ensure connectivity, driving and owning the budgets for change.
Champion of communication across the business ensuring no duplication or overlap looking for synergies with every decision.
Drive a Data culture across the business and own remediation programs of work to ensure execution.
Work with Risk & Control team to implement data access controls
Work with Legal, Risk, & Compliance partners on program policies
Qualifications
10-15+ years industry experience in Middle Office and Fund Accounting servicing Derivatives
Exceptional communication & presentation skills
Has superior strategic, analytic and problem-solving skills, and is capable of clearly communicating a long-term vision across the company and clients
Natural collaborator
Must be disciplined and comfortable with ambiguity, possessing the maturity and capability to interact and influence across multiple levels and a global matrixed organization
Ability to elevate the conversation to client’s needs and objectives, and also dig into the details and process flows
Flexible – demonstrated experience working effectively with multiple stake holders
Strong analytical skills, including numbers and situational analyses, and high attention to detail
Organization and project management skills, including effective cross-functional management skills
Team player
Able to prioritize work, and shift priorities as needed to meet aggressive deadlines and milestones
Experience in driving large agile initiatives
Promotes teamwork and builds strong relationships within and across global teams
Experience in financial services is desirable but not required
