Who You’ll Work With:
The Business Application and Desktop Services department supports AllianceBernstein Investor Services’ (ABIS) operations and service teams located in the US, Europe and Asia.  The primary objective is to ensure the business can stay focused on servicing our customers and growing the business by acting as a focal point for ABIS’ technology needs.
This team supports this diverse group of business users by providing a broad array of support and development services. These services are provided in cooperation with other technology groups, external vendors, and most importantly the business groups that we service.  Additionally, this group provides business analysis, process documentation, vendor application support and ABIS’ Business Continuity Coordination in coordination of AB’s Business Continuity Management group.

What You’ll Do:
The Business Application Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing the systems and tools that power ABIS’s processing and recordkeeping operations. This role involves system administration, data analysis, workflow design, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity of system administration, business analysis, or operations support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
  • Familiarity with command line tools, application installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
