What you will do
Installation & Service Team Manager will be responsible for the coordination and assignment of personnel and materials necessary for prompt, complete installation and inspection and repair of security, fire, card access and CCTV systems within an assigned territory. Develops and builds on current capabilities to prepare team members for successful job performance. May manage a small District's service operations
How you will do it
Plan, schedule, supervise and control installations and control service jobs.
Confirm all equipment procurement for installations.
Read and interpret P & L's, General Ledger, Job Profitability and Open Job Detail reports.
Prepare progress reports, expense reports and other related documents.
Evaluate system performance and effectiveness to maintain and minimize equipment malfunctions.
Maintain technical knowledge of current standards and new developments.
Keep associates and customers informed of any industry changes.
Develop work force size to efficiently accommodate subscriber-related workloads.
Maintain outright sales and advanced service charge recovery margins.
Evaluate system performance for cost savings and product improvement.
Research and maintain technical knowledge to inform associates and customers of current standards and new developments.
What we look for
Required
Two plus years of management/leadership experience
Minimum 3-5 years experience, conducting repairs, inspections and construction of Integrated Security or comparable services.
Strong financial acumen, ability to budget and forecast
Strong relationship building skills ability to work in a matrix team organization
Demonstrated commitment to integrity and quality in business.
Strong interpersonal communication and collaborative skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels
Preferred
Associate degree or equivalent 2-year electronic trade school training.
Experience running a technical force
Minimum 3-5 years of electrical and electronic equipment installation experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
