The Opportunity

P&G is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team.  In this role, you will provide mechanical process services to the Research and Development community through the support of existing processes and projects.  You will be working onsite at the Mason Business Center in Mason, OH supporting laboratories and small-scale making systems. Day to day you will provide operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of key process equipment. In this dynamic role, you will work on state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, learn and grow to meet challenges that can change daily all while working alongside a network of innovative engineers and technical peers.

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation, maintenance, optimization, and repair of lab and manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshooting of mechanical systems – pumps, agitators, heat exchangers, and mixing equipment.
• Development of innovative mechanical solutions to meet R&D requirements.
• Preventative maintenance of equipment
• Layout, design and fabrication of process and utility piping systems.
• Project and contractor management
• Self-management of daily work and project responsibilities

Job Qualifications

Required:

• High School diploma

Experience in the following areas is beneficial.  Additional training will be available as required:

• Welding – pipe, structural and orbital
• Specialty Water Systems (RO, Soft, USP)
• HVAC systems 
• Sanitary & Clean Design systems
• Tanks, Pressure Vessels, and relief valves
• Understanding of process flow sheets and mechanical drawings
• Project management and cost estimating
• Proficiency within Microsoft Office suite
• Technical program / Trade school or equivalent work experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of managing multiple responsibilities and schedules, simultaneously
• Proficiency within AutoCAD software or equivalent

Location:

• Ability to work onsite in Mason, OH 5 days per week, typical schedule 6am - 2:30pm / 7am - 3:30pm

Pay Range: $78,200 - $95,850
