Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  • Conduct frequent patrols of the facilities and complete safety and security checks.
  • Conduct foot patrols of the facilities where access is provided to identify safety and security concerns.
  • Makes periodic tours about buildings and grounds, examining doors, windows and gates to ensure that they are properly secured.
  • Provide feedback to supervisor of any exceptions, incidents or pertinent information.
  • Ensure that all Company security standards, policies and procedures are maintained.
  • Report any suspicious activity to the proper authorities. Ensure security of doors, windows and gates.
  • Prevent unauthorized personnel from entering restricted areas.
  • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
  • Complete a Shift Report per the Shift Report Writing Guidelines.
  • Attend staff meetings/trainings as required.
  • May serve as liaison with police on mutual problems.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not directly supervise associates.
