About the Team:

At CookUnity, the Brand Marketing team is responsible for developing and executing world-class marketing activations and experiences that drive organic growth through brand awareness and earn loyalty beyond reason. This team sets the vision and strategy for the brand and brings it to life with strategic rigor, creative excellence, and cultural relevance. Through insight-inspired, data-led brand storytelling and experiences, CookUnity’s Brand Marketing team will build a category-defining brand loved by an entire generation of foodies.

The Role:

We are looking for an exceptional Product Marketing leader to drive the positioning, adoption, and ongoing use of CookUnity’s expanding suite of products and services. The ideal candidate is a customer-obsessed marketer and detailed systems thinker who embraces data and insights to deeply understand the needs of our audience and category context to craft compelling propositions.

In this role you will own the development of a detailed customer lifecycle journey and lead the product GTM process from inception to execution. You will collaborate closely with key partners in Product, Portfolio, Chef Success, Growth Marketing, and Business Operations to drive product comprehension and conversion in the category and order penetration and sales growth among CookUnity subscribers with the ultimate goal of maximizing retention rates. This role will both lead and deeply integrate across a mix of owned, earned, and paid channels to establish an undeniable presence and adoration for CookUnity products and chefs. You will report to the VP of Brand Marketing and work closely with influential leaders throughout the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Leader of the “Brand Experience Squad” with ownership for product marketing and all strategies/initiatives related to increasing product comprehension, differentiation, product/feature adoption, retention, and customer LTV.
  • Work to deeply understand our customers and their needs, utilizing these insights to inspire/drive future product roadmaps in support of exceeding customer expectations, supporting company positioning, and achieving best in class product benchmarks.
  • Partner with product, portfolio, and chef success to position current and future offerings to reinforce CookUnity’s marketplace ambitions and maximize audience resonance.
  • Lead the development of a clear, compelling narrative framework, defining the role of our digital product, features, meals, and chefs in aligning/reinforcing CU overall positioning
  • Lead (and refine) our launch process (intake, prioritization, calendar, seasonal releases, etc) to drive more efficient & impactful product marketing GTM (awareness, understanding, adoption, engagement)
  • Monitor and report on key metric performance, including but not limited to product launch performance (conversion rate, first-month sales, repeat purchase rate), customer retention rates, and customer satisfaction (ratings & reviews, NPS, satisfaction surveys).
  • Lead an emerging creator LTO strategy partnering with top talent profiles to extend our reach and relevance among high value audiences
  • Ensure priority products and their distinct value to customers are present and highlighted in all marketing across Growth and Brand activations
  • Own the continued development, refinement, and activation of a comprehensive user journey, considering all possible touch points for engagement and merchandising

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience with proven ability to develop effective and impactful strategies that fuel business growth and brand affinity.
  • Experience at premium consumer and/or technology brands with a track record of launching captivating product marketing work.
  • Growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, operating with a bias for action and will to figure things out with minimal oversight.
  • A skillful communicator and analytical thinker who can turn insights and strategy into inspiring storytelling and customer value.
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable partnering, influencing, and aligning with cross-functional partners including those in technical roles.
  • Experience and high degree of comfort executing and thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • BA/BS Degree

Preferred requirements:

  • 3+ years people management experience
  • MS/MBA Degree
  • Experience with marketplace brands or working across consumer and creator audiences is a plus

Compensation

  • All final pay rates will be determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
  • Pay Range for this position: $170,000 - $180,000 per year.
