The Lifecycle Marketing Manager is a pivotal role within the organization, tasked with driving new business growth and enhancing customer retention. This associate will play a strategic role  in  collaborating  with  sales,  customer  care,  and  other  key  stakeholders  to  design, implement,  and  scale  customer  lifecycle  marketing  initiatives.  By  leveraging  marketing automation  tools  and  expertise  in  email  and  SMS  marketing,  the  Lifecycle  Marketing Manager will develop and execute comprehensive strategies aimed at engaging customers throughout  their  journey—from  acquisition  to  retention  and  win-back  efforts.  The  role requires  a  strong  understanding  of  marketing  technologies,  customer  segmentation,  and data-driven  decision-making.  The  Lifecycle  Marketing  Manager  will  be  responsible  for creating   personalized   and   timely   communications,   optimizing   campaign   performance through rigorous A/B testing, and ensuring compliance with marketing regulations.

Additional Details:

  • Develops and executes lifecycle marketing strategies to attract, engage and nurture customers throughout their journey

  • Leverages marketing automation tools, email marketing expertise and project management skills to create personalized, targeted, and timely email/sms communications

  • Develop A/B test roadmaps and execute and analyze those tests to drive future results

  • Optimize campaign performance by conducting A/B testing, analyzing data, and implementing strategies to improve open rates, click-through rates, and web engagement rates.

  • Segments and maintains the email list, employing segmentation strategies based on customer behavior and preferences

  • Manages the email marketing calendar, ensuring timely and impactful campaign launches

  • Helps design high-value signup campaigns, to grow conversion rates and improve the prospect experience

  • Partners with marketing analytics to understand the business impact and trends of our customer campaigns

  • Ensures the seamless operation of the marketing automation capability to handle requests from the business, refining processes and frameworks for prioritization to maintain an excellent customer experience

  • Plays an important role in our broader Marketing and customer journey strategy, representing the critical lifecycle marketing channels and opportunities

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in email marketing to continuously improve campaign performance

  • Manages vendors and/or contractors, if necessary, to complete projects as scoped

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in email and SMS marketing and developing the marketing automation capability.

  • Experience with common marketing technology tools and understanding the mechanics of a successful customer lifecycle strategy.

  • Worked with very large numbers of prospects and customers and have experience with sophisticated segmentation and targeting.

  • Experience leveraging data to inform strategy and priorities and provide insights to the organization in partnership with our marketing analytics team.

  • Ensures compliance with email marketing regulations; CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, CCPA, etc.

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related discipline. 

  • Email Marketing Certification (e.g., HubSpot Email Marketing Certification, Mailchimp Email Marketing Certification)

  • 3+ years experience in email and SMS marketing with expert knowledge of Hubspot CMS and CRM automation. HeyMarket experience a plus.
