    This role sits within the Futures Derivatives Clearing (FDC) Control Group and is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team within London, with focus on excellence in controls facing our counterparts, also within balance sheet control

    What you’ll do:

    • Work within a team covering critical control functions across FDC and the wider firm.  A desire to challenge processes and procedures proactively and constructively will be key to this role
    • An ability to analyse complex problems and report on results
    • Drive change across the team, contribute to solutions and process improvements partnering with multiple internal stakeholders across Operations, the Business, Technology and Finance
    • Use MIS to establish trends in data and partner with Technology and/or Operations partners to help establish root cause issues
    • An understanding of accounting flows of the derivatives product life cycle to partner with Finance on balance-sheet substantiation efforts would be beneficial


    What we’ll need from you:

    • Previous product relevant experience preferred.
    • A background as a finance controller is preferred
    • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask
    • Ability to work independently

    Qualifications:

    • Prior relevant experience
    • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
