Join us as our new Procurement Associate

This position will work cross-functionally with internal procurement and external stakeholders and suppliers. You will be responsible for supporting larger procurement activities while running your own medium-to-small projects as an agile resource across our North American Indirect Procurement Organization.

In this role you’ll make an impact by: 

• Conducting analysis on spend, suppliers, products, market segments, etc.
• Developing RFI/RFP’s (Request for Information/Request for Proposal) to secure competition between suppliers
• Securing signed contracts on standard terms for suppliers across multiple categories
• Negotiating terms on price, lead-time, payment term utilizing category strategies and negotiation tactics
• Communicating and collaborating with relevant stakeholders across multiple Lines of Business
• Sharing knowledge and collaborate with Category Managers
• Supporting manager with pipeline and other data development projects (as requested)
• Supporting business transformation initiatives within the North American region

 To succeed you must hold: 

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to develop and execute medium complexity negotiations and RFI/P activities
• Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers both internal and external to procurement
• Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
• These characteristics are normally acquired through A relevant Bachelor within Supply chain, Economics, Sourcing or similar, preferably combined with some practical experience
