This position provides remediation of cybersecurity vulnerabilities both remote and on-site (as needed), enabling caregivers to work safely and confidently. The team has strong ties to the IT Client Engineering team, who plan, implement, and remediate Windows desktop policies and settings for 80,000+ endpoints throughout the organization.  

 

This position has a Hybrid option (2-3 days per week). Being a 'field' position, on site travel to Cleveland Clinic buildings may be required if remote technical remediation cannot be affected. Shift times are flexible, to accommodate clinical schedules, occasional flexing outside these hours may be necessary. 

 

A caregiver in this position works 8:00am—5:00pm.  


A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Contribute to the design, engineering, and implementation of systems infrastructure. 

  • Install and maintain operating systems and related software. 

  • Manage and monitor enterprise systems environment. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems in the system environment. 

  • Apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate and resolve issues. 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • High School Diploma or GED. 

  • Appropriate industry credentials may be required. 

  • For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within six months of the position start date.  

  • Three years’ work experience in a technical/analytical position responsible for managing server environments. 

  • For IT Security, minimum three years’ work experience in a technical/analytical position in risk/compliance areas. 


Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience. 

  • Data analysis 

  • Active directory, PowerShell, Excel, and/or SQL for analysis. 

  • Windows operating systems 

  • Altiris or MS endpoint manager or similar platform management system.

Physical Requirements:

  • Typical Physical demands include manual dexterity sufficient to operate basic office equipment. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.
