Job Description
Job Summary:
Under general supervision performs a wide variety of highly skilled, complex and non-repetitive electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of developmental or prototype requirements in product development, manufacturing engineering, or production operations where documentation and guidance are limited.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
May provide general supervision in technical leadership to lower-level assemblers including carrying out lead responsibilities in accordance with applicable regulations and laws and the organization’s policies and procedures. This includes, but is not limited to training employees, planning, assigning, directing work and resolving technically related work problems.

Education and/or Experience Vocational or Technical Certificate, or college degree (Associates Degree) in related or specialized field; minimum of 15 years of experience, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend work and safety instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to enter time and data into a computer system. Additional MS Office skills may be required.
