Wire Harness Technician
The Wire Harness Technician will be responsible for assembling harnesses for flight spacecraft, environmental testing, and development hardware. They will work directly with the harness engineers and test engineers to develop new processes and designs to improve efficiency and reliability. They are also responsible for area setup and organization, maintaining production equipment, and supporting other production teams as needed based on priorities.
Role
- Help assemble and install qualification hardware
- Create and install wire harnesses for the vehicle
- Collaborate with design engineers to develop and document future activities
- Work with design engineers to execute test processes
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years of experience working hands-on as a technician in the aerospace, automotive, or similar industries
- Wire crimping and harness assembly
- Familiarity with precision tools
- Excellent attention to detail
- Climbing ladders, long durations of standing, grasping, sitting, pulling, and physical bending movements
- Must be able to lift 25lbs, unassisted
- This role requires to work onsite
- US Citizenship or Green Card

All our positions offer a compensation package that includes equity, robust benefits, and bonuses.
The base pay for this position ranges from $30 - $55 per hour.
50 hours a week expectation for our production team. First and second shift availabilities.

Astranis pay ranges are infomed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, and the level and scope of the position.
