What is the role?

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Kit & Equipment department as a First Team Kit Officer.  This role will provide logistical support for all First Team matches, training sessions and tours as well as being the first point of contact for any kit/equipment issues or questions.

Overseeing all aspects of kit and equipment for First Team players, coaches and staff, including:

  • Ordering, printing and distributing kit.
  • Maintaining the database for match playing shirts
  • Producing reports in relation to auditing and stock management.
  • Overseeing the general maintenance and cleanliness of kit and equipment areas including the support of laundry.
  • Being on site for all First Team home and away fixtures (this role includes some travel abroad)

To thrive in this position, you will need excellent organisation skills with a pro-active work ethic.  You’ll enjoy being a team player and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, work independently, and be comfortable working in a pressured and changing environment.

Please note this role includes unsociable hours and some travel abroad.

Essential Experience:

  • Experience of stock control and audit programme.
  • First Aid at work qualification. 
  • Trained in Manual Handling.
  • COSSHE Trained.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent organisation.
  • Good communication.
  • IT skills .
  • Team player.
  • Proactive approach to work.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • UK driving license.
