Role: Vulnerability Management Role Description: Vulnerability Management role is responsible for identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and remediating security vulnerabilities across infrastructure and applications. This includes managing the full lifecycle of vulnerabilities - from detection to closure- while ensuring alignment with organizational security policies and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities and Technical Experience: • Monitor vulnerabilities across the client environment using tools and dashboards such as: • Tanium Enterprise Management • Nessus or Rapid7 • Analyze scan results and prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity and potential impact. • Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly vulnerability reports to relevant stakeholders. • Develop and execute monthly mitigation plans for application vulnerabilities, ensuring closure of all reported issues. • Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and application owners to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities. • Track remediation progress and escalate delays or risks to management as needed. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the vulnerability lifecycle, including detection, reporting, and resolution. • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and relevant vulnerability data and reports. • Work closely with client teams to align vulnerability management practices with organizational standards. • Contribute to automation initiatives aimed at streamlining vulnerability reporting and tracking processes. Required Skills • Minimum 5 years of experience in application and infrastructure vulnerability management, including reporting and remediation. • Hands-on experience with tools such as Tanium Enterprise Management, Security Platform, Nessus, or Rapid7. • Strong understanding of patch management and remediation workflows for application-related vulnerabilities. • Vulnerabilities mitigation Knowledge on, net, Java, Oracle, Apache Etc. • Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills. • Proven experience working in multi-tower environments. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting. Skill Tanium Enterprise Management Security Platform Nessus or Rapid7 Application Vulnerability Management Vulnerability Reporting CompTIA Security+ Certification Good to Have: CompTIA Security+ Certification Window Server Administration Tableau reporting Web Application and API Knowledge.
