The Forex (FX) Advisor is an intermediate position responsible for providing customer service assistance and meeting sales targets for financial products and services within their assigned district or location, in coordination with the broader Consumer Sales team. The overall objective is to utilize a wide range of product knowledge to build relationships with clients in order to recognize which financial products and services meet their needs.
Responsibilities:
Grow and expand CPC/Citigold Treasury business with strong collaboration with CPC/Citigold Relationship Managers
o Provide treasury investment recommendations, trade ideas and market updates for CPC/Citigold customers
o Review, advise and execute orders for FX and FX derivatives, Premium Account, Bonds and Structured Notes
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in research, treasury investment sales or trading in fixed income, currencies, equities and other treasury related products
External certification such as CFA or MBA is an added advantage
o Accreditation in CMFAS certificates – M1, M5, M6, M6A, M8 & M8A
Possesses strong interest in and understanding of economics and financial markets, particularly in fixed income, foreign exchange and equity market
o Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills
o Driven, self-motivated and able to work independently yet being a good team player, as well
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
