Research Analyst/Senior Analyst (Social Cohesion Research Programme)
The S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), a Graduate School of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), is a leading research-intensive and teaching institution in strategic and international affairs and policy-oriented think tank in the Asia-Pacific region.
The person will assist the Social Cohesion Research Programme with research and administrative duties. The work will cover areas such as how the social and built environment shapes inclusion, the various forms of religious digitisation, and detecting trends and patterns online. The research involves conducting in-depth literature reviews on topics such as social cohesion, religiosity, ethnicity, and nationalism, as well as carrying out multivariate analyses on cross-national data to assess social cohesion patterns. Administrative responsibilities include supporting strategic events and meetings, managing relevant databases, and providing key insights to aid decision-making and facilitate effective communication.
The person should have a Master/Degree in social sciences/data analytics and have an appreciation of Singapore's identity and cultural dynamics. He/she need to comfortable with report writing and statistical analyses, and possess a basic understanding of multivariate statistics, including multiple regressions, factor analysis, and statistical tabulations on Excel and charts.
