In this role, you'll work with subject matter experts to design and develop exams for a variety of courses and certification tracks. You will lead workshops to build exam blueprints, write high-quality exam questions, revise items, and set cut scores. You will also research and collaborate with the team to establish standards and ensure consistent processes and practices.
About You
You can take a list of job tasks and, with help from SMEs, decide how best to assess a candidate's ability to perform these tasks in their role. You are also a proficient item writer who can quickly draft exam questions to measure candidates' performance. You should be familiar with psychometric principles and know how to use data to gauge item exposure and overall exam health.
2+ years of experience writing exam questions, developing performance exam requirements, cloning items, or creating rubrics.
Experience facilitating high-stakes interactive meetings or workshops to achieve an objective with remote participants.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant working experience.
Experience providing constructive feedback on exam questions and revising items and requirements to align with house style and item writing standards.
Technical background or knowledge of Workday products.
Working proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets.
Experience working in Questionmark or similar item-banking tool.
Familiarity with instructional design and psychometric principles.
Ability to work effectively on a remote team and travel to attend team meetings up to twice per year.
