This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business helping our network of local cooperatives, independent dealers and other large retailers serve producers, and animal owners throughout the United States. Through industry -leading R&D and committed partnerships, we innovate the nutrition products and practices that unlock the full potential of every animal for a healthier, more productive life.
The Logistics Supervisor will ensure total customer satisfaction and safe operations within the warehouse functions. Additional focuses would be managing inventory, paperwork, expenses, daily leadership of direct reports - driving performance and delivering results, regulatory compliance and timely, safe delivery.
Oversight and coordination of warehouse inventory levels (accuracy) and responsible for weekly, monthly and annual cycle count processes and reporting
Oversight of Office Administrative functions (BOL’s, Receipts, Driver paperwork, Load Ready Sheets and all other plant/warehouse paperwork)
Oversight of team HR functions and assist in recruiting of employees to provide for high quality customer support
Supervising and motivating employees including evaluating and coaching team members
Communication liaison for the location with Customer Service, Tractor Supply Co. (TSC,) Transportation and Vendors.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) for TSC processes and paperwork for local and regional coordination of efficient operations
Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve warehousing and plant performance. Continuous Improvement Champion.
Assist in ensuring a safe work environment for all staff members and helping lead the safety program for the facility.
Assist in ensuring quality program requirements are met and adhered to at the location, particularly in the warehouse area.
Experience-Education:
High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role in warehousing or manufacturing environment
Competencies-Skills:
Leadership, coaching, communication skills
Must be organized with the ability to plan and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Ability to provide solutions and demonstrate innovative thinking with excellent problem solving/analytical skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Salary: $69,040 - $103,560
