What would you do? Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations.
You will be working as a part of Procurement management team which uses a systematic approach for buying all the goods and services needed for a company to stay sustainable. They are involved in the identification of need, finding and qualifying the suppliers, requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery and analyzing results.
Supplier Relationship Management team is responsible for developing a supplier management strategy that incorporates supplier segmentation, supplier integration, supplier development & supplier performance monitoring to meet business objectives. They are responsible for invoice reconciliation, performance dashboards, certificate of insurance, Scorecard/Customer Satisfaction survey & business recovery plan. This team is an SME for supply chain projects & initiatives like supplier sourcing, RFx, optimizations, supplier forums & training, satisfaction surveys. They analyze data regularly to identify gaps in the MSP program supply chain & make proactive recommendations to clients & RSR Program Office to ensure desired business results. They help provide support, management, & supplier training during the supplier vetting process as new suppliers join programs. They help manage & document supplier performance, including program suspension and/or removal if expected results are not achieved.
What are we looking for? · Team leadership experience
· Understanding of the full procurement to pay processes and associated technologies
· Ability to track work effectiveness and efficiency through structured performance indicators and service level agreements with the client
· Good communication skills
· Work planning, progress tracking, and project management
· Ability to diagnose work priority requirements and plan accordingly
· Maintaining a positive work atmosphere especially in times of pressure and issues
· At least 5 years of professional procurement and or team leaders experience
· You previously worked in a field related to Procurement or Finance
· You have experience working on ERP/e-procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Ivalua, Coupa, Ariba…)
Roles and Responsibilities: You will serve as a senior lead supporting the Service Delivery manager with operations for a global manufacturing Client. You will be responsible to oversee and supervise a team of up to 20 people delivering procurement day-to-day operations, with the objective that all services are delivered in accordance to agreed procedures, policy and target performance metrics. In addition, you will lead ad-hoc projects and system / tech implementations from the Operational point of View and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that Accenture best practices are implemented across all workstreams.
Lastly, you will be counted on as an escalation point of contact to liaise with the client stakeholders to solve operational related issues or expedited requests.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Leading the team such that it operates as an integral extension of our client’s organization
· Monitoring team members’s performance and providing guidance to achieve desired productivity levels
· Oversee onboarding of new team members including communications and introduction to the client
· Assist our team leaders group with ad-hoc projects and day-to-day delivery.
· Be involved in transformation type projects and work on continuously improving operational procedures.
· Ensure the continuity of delivery by monitoring performance metrics and performing analysis of available data sources.
· Provide support to the team, act as a point of contact between team members and the Client
· Monitor SLAs and KPIs, work on escalations and problem management
· Lead by example, inspire the team and create an environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and critical thinking
