As Contract Driver Recruiter, you leverage your truck driver recruiting expertise to build a robust driver candidate pool.  This is a contract role, anticipated for a 6-month duration; however, as Whiteline Express continues to grow, there is a potential for a full-time recruiter role.

You Will

  • Use a variety of sourcing techniques to attract and engage driver candidates
  • Apply your deep knowledge about the driver talent pool and transportation industry to develop a comprehensive driver recruiting strategy
  • Screen candidates to ensure candidate fit and DOT compliance
  • Facilitate the hiring process, assuring positive candidate and manager experience
  • Use all systems and platforms to efficiently execute the process and capture key data
  • Collaborate with the team to evaluate and improve recruiting practices

You Have

  • ​A minimum of two (2) years of successful driver recruiting experience
  • Proven success cultivating robust driver candidate pools through a wide variety of channels and mediums
  • Solid experience engaging candidates and screening driver candidates for capability, compliance and company fit
  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance practices
  • Proficiency with recruitment technologies and social platforms
  • The attributes for success, which include operating with a high sense of urgency, a collaborative work style, continuous improvement mindset & tenacity to achieve goals
