As a Business Operations Analyst - Order fulfillment specialist

  • Supports order fulfillment execution in SAP (S4) to ensure seamless order flow to customers.
  • Monitor customer orders and work with supply chain team for to have orders acknowledgement and shipment as committed.
  • Manages supply chain processes, such as inventory analysis, order fulfillment, import/export operations and shipping, for a regional or global business unit.
  • Produces reports using IT systems and analyzes data to develop trends for supply and demand activities, and articulates findings to management.
  • Leads the analysis conducted for backlog management.
  • Strong collaboration across planning , manufacturing partners , Logistics to resolve issues impacting order flow.
  • You would be Supporting advanced- and complex-level transactional processes for special or non- typical assignments independently.
  • Serves as a process expert within the supply chain; capable of pulling the data, identifying trends, and communicating the meaning behind the data to exempt-level employees, typically in a consultative manner.
  • Identifies complex, special, or undocumented areas for process improvement and collaborates with exempt-level employees to develop recommendations.
  • Provides training and mentorship support; develops training/documentation materials.
  • Provides troubleshooting and problem-solving support of complex problems.
  • Leads and coordinates daily work activities; responsible for overall shift output and manages timelines.

Job Summary
• This role is responsible for managing supply chain processes for a regional or global business unit while applying discretion and judgement. The role maintains current business processes and performance metrics by collaborating with regional and global business unit planning teams, and identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize operational processes. The role supports priority projects and communicates requirements to the regional and global business unit planning teams.

Responsibilities
• Manages supply chain processes, such as inventory analysis, order fulfillment, import/export operations and shipping, for a regional or global business unit.
• Produces reports using IT systems and analyzes data to develop trends for supply and demand activities, and articulates findings to management.
• Leads the analysis conducted for backlog management.
• Gathers demand data from country, region, and account managers to contribute to demand planning.
• Collaborates with regional and global business unit planning teams to maintain and enhance current business processes.
• Drives business outcomes and operational excellence based on the continuous review of current processes.
• Drives the review of performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Communicates requirements and guidelines to the regional and global business unit planning teams.
• Provides training or general direction for junior staff members.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Certified Professional In Supply Management (Standards Organizations)

  • Certification in SAP SD Module
