Job Description

The SEO Manager will lead the development and execution of our team’s SEO strategy, driving organic traffic growth and ensuring growth in search engine rankings. This role requires a deep understanding of the latest SEO trends, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines and teams. The SEO Manager will be responsible for overseeing keyword optimization, integrating SEO best practices into website updates and releases, and providing strategic direction for content creation and site architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with business goals.

  • Oversee keyword research and optimization efforts to ensure high-ranking positions in search engines.

  • Collaborate with the development and content teams to integrate SEO best practices into page updates and new content releases.

  • Analyze SEO performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to improve rankings and drive traffic.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes to ensure strategies are current and effective.

  • Help evangelize SEO across the organization and develop best practices working alongside our partners.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to SEO team members.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Eight or more years of experience in marketing or related field

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in SEO with a proven track record of success in driving organic traffic growth. 

  • Deep understanding of SEO tools such as Core Web Vitals, SEMrush, BrightEdge, and Core Web Vitals and how they impact SEO.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and alongside business teams, content, design, and development teams.

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and technical SEO.

Location Expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $107,865.00 - $126,900.00 - $139,590.00
