The Opportunity

As a dedicated Strategic Innovation Advisor - Entry Level, you will support USAA's strategic objectives by researching and testing innovations related to strategically defined CoSA focus areas. Accountable for determining the feasibility and viability of innovation concepts to include early stage research, ideation, design, incubation, prototyping, piloting, developing a business case and/or partnering with CoSA leadership for innovation efforts.

We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in the following location: San Antonio, TX. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you'll do:

• Actively participates in innovation efforts in support of the team.
• Coordinates with team members to identify business opportunities and becomes familiar with team processes.
• Supports testing for market need and interest.
• Supports business case build-out to support concept narrative.
• Supports team members in the execution of innovation programs and processes.
• Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

• Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a business and/or staff function such as property and casualty, banking, or financial services.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $62,470.00 - $111,940.00.
