Job Description Summary

This role is responsible for the strategic execution of complex, high-value projects that directly impact business performance across SOS, Outage Planning & Readiness and On-Time Demand Placement for Parts, Repairs and Services, across 400+ Outages.

The Leader oversees and influences cross-functional initiatives that align with organizational priorities across scope, schedule, cost, and quality, while embedding scalable processes, enabling systems transformation, and delivering data-driven insights to drive yearly margin improvement. As a catalyst for change and a trusted advisor, this role plays a critical part in shaping business transformation and strengthening operational excellence at scale.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of service-related programs, ensuring strategic alignment with contractual, financial, and operational goals.
  • Establish and evolve delivery frameworks—integrating advanced project methodologies, risk management, and performance measurement tools to ensure consistent and value-driven outcomes.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner and subject-matter expert, championing best practices and influencing policy and operational strategy across the enterprise.
  • Partner with global and regional stakeholders to define and implement enterprise-wide process standardization, driving simplification, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Lead initiatives to modernize systems architecture in partnership with Digital Technology (DT) teams, ensuring operational tools support evolving business needs.
  • Drive the design and implementation of global work standards, reinforcing high-performance execution and organizational alignment.
  • Deliver actionable insights through advanced data analysis to improve SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) metrics and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Act as a change leader—guiding stakeholder engagement, fostering adoption of new tools and processes, and building organizational readiness for transformation.
  • Apply technical and market expertise to influence decision-making and shape the organization’s competitive positioning.
  • Build and manage stakeholder alignment strategies across diverse functions and geographies to enable successful transformation delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in Operations, Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Significant leadership experience in Operations, Project Management, Services, Customer or Field Services.
  • Very good working knowledge of the industry to contribute to the goals of the business unit and the purpose of Gas Power.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership capability with the ability to influence effectively across complex, matrixed environments.
  • Proven experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable process-improvement methodologies to drive measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional communicator and stakeholder partner, skilled at simplifying complexity and fostering alignment across diverse teams.
  • Strategic mindset with strong operational and financial literacy, complemented by a systems-thinking approach.
  • Results-focused, collaborative leader with a record of delivering transformation and sustaining high performance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of power generation field operations and services, including familiarity with the current fleet portfolio (gas turbine, steam turbine, generator, controls, and aero turbines).
  • Solid business acumen and financial awareness.
  • Background in CPM, project planning and execution.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, The base pay range for this position is $140,300 - $233,800 USD Annual.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
