What you'll do...

Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Location: 640 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Develop complex and interactive web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience. Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups and wireframes into responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces. Architect and design the front-end structure and component hierarchy of web applications. Ensure scalability, maintainability, and modularity.  Create reusable and modular UI components or libraries that can be easily integrated into multiple parts of the application. Implement state management solutions such as Redux, Mobx, or context API for handing application-wide state. Optimize front-end code and assets for faster load times and improved performance. Employ techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and image optimization. Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests for front-end code using testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, or Cypress. Ensure code quality through code reviews. Integrate front-end code into CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment to production environments. Tackle complex technical challenges and troubleshoot front-end issues efficiently.  Be aware of common web security threats and implement security best practices in front-end code.

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.

Skills required: Experience designing and implementing complex web application using HTML and CSS. Experience building reusable page components using modern frameworks including React, Angular or Vue.js. Experience optimizing and bundling front-end assets using build tools including Webpack, Babel and task runners. Experience building complex front-end applications using state management libraries including Reduxm Mobx. Experience interacting RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous operations using tools including Axios or React-Query. Experience designing and testing web components using Jest, Enzyme or react testing library. Experience using version control systems including Git for collaborative development and code management. Experience managing application dependencies using package managers including NPM or yarn. Experience working in an Agile Environment. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $174,518/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.   Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
