What you will do:

The Pricing and Market Insights Leader for JCH Europe is responsible for driving pricing strategies and market intelligence within our Residential and Light Commercial HVAC business. This role, reportign to the Business Intelligence Manager EMEA, involves identifying and translating market opportunities into actionable recommendations aimed at achieving revenue and profit targets.

How you will do it:

  • Lead the annual management of pricing, including setting price realization targets, cascading them to products and countries, monitoring outcomes, and implementing mid-term updates and countermeasures. Establish a pricing realization dashboard in collaboration with business analysts.
  • Coordinate master price list management and standard discount processes for all products, countries, and channels, ensuring alignment with Product Marketing for value-based pricing and with the Data Steward team for execution in Oracle systems.
  • Work closely with supporting functions to create a compliant pricing and discount approval process, ensuring adherence by the Sales teams.
  • Continuously monitor the pulse of the European Residential and Light Commercial HVAC industry by utilizing various news sources, market research data, sales teams, and conferences. Develop communication processes to keep key personnel informed about market trends.
  • Establish connections with relevant market research sources to monitor market size and share by country and product category. Enrich data with insights and recommendations for regional and global management.
  • Foster close collaboration with the Global Pricing Center of Excellence, Sales, Product Marketing, Finance, Business Intelligence, and Operations to achieve pricing objectives.
  • Support the integration of pricing and market insights processes between business entities during transformations, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • As part of the Business Intelligence team, assist in business analysis, especially during transitional periods.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • A minimum of six years of experience in pricing and market intelligence, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market analysis, develop pricing models, and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI, with solid experience in Oracle systems and data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, analytical thinking, communication, and process management skills.
  • Proficient in motivating teams and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
