This job assumes the responsibility for supporting Talent Management programs and initiatives, which functions to provide a sustainable competitive advantage for the company by providing employees with a range of career development services through performance management, continuous learning, leadership development, performance management and workforce planning. Will guide leaders and key line managers as they include the development of key employees as a strategic function of the career development process of Talent Management.

Education

Required - Bachelor's degree in Organization Development, Training & Development or related field

Preferred - Master’s degree


Work Experience

Required -  7 years related working experience in Career Development, Organization Development, Workforce Development, Human Resources or other relevant field(s).

Preferred: Experience working in a health care environment.

  • Must have computer skills and be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to the role.

Job Duties

  • Designs, develops, leads, implements and promotes the talent management strategy.
  • Leads, manages and develops the employees.
  • Connects the career development, performance management and/or workforce management strategy with the Talent Management Strategy.
  • Develops the methodology and leads the design of different talent development and career assessment programs and tools and regularly assess results of development programs and tools.
  • Promotes Talent/Performance Management, Succession Planning, Career Development, and/or Workforce Development programs and actively support departments.
  • Leads strategic organization wide projects focused on the development of high potentials employees.
  • Builds the functioning relationship with the top managers and acts as the influencing member of the Talent Management Team.
  • Other related duties as required.

Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. NOTE: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.


Must be able to sit or stand and for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to stoop, bend, reach and grab with arms and hands, manual dexterity.
Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities.

Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue and as part of their employment, incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.

There is no occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases

Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
