EquipmentShare is Hiring a Intern: Marketing Photography and Videography 

Job Summary: EquipmentShare seeks a Marketing Photography and Videography Intern to assist in capturing and creating compelling visual content that highlights our brand, culture, and products. This role is ideal for an intern with a passion for storytelling through visual media, who is eager to contribute to a fast-paced marketing team and gain hands-on experience with a rapidly growing, tech-enabled construction solutions company.

Compensation Range: $18 per hour, depending on experience

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute photo and video shoots that align with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
  • Capture high-quality images and videos for a variety of platforms, including social media, website, email marketing, and digital ads.
  • Edit and format visuals for multiple uses, ensuring consistency in color, style, and brand standards.
  • Support post-production tasks, including organizing files, editing videos, and preparing final versions for publishing.
  • Maintain and organize equipment, ensuring all gear is prepared and available for scheduled shoots.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new content ideas that showcase our products, technology and workplace culture.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficiency in photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong eye for detail, color and composition in photography and videography.
  • Basic understanding of lighting, framing and shot composition.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and an understanding of creating content for different digital platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education and Experience:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a multimedia or related field.
  • Prior experience with photography, videography and editing (either academic or professional) is preferred.
  • A portfolio showcasing photography and videography work will provide a competitive edge.
  • Knowledge of construction or the construction industry is not required but would be helpful.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods during photo and video shoots.
  • Comfortable with occasional travel to job sites or company locations for on-site content capture.
