ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to new and existing clients throughout REPAY’s pre-sales and client implementation lifecycle experience. The Sales Engineer will work with the Sales Team to identify and implement the products and services that create the best solution to meet and exceed the clients’ payment processing business requirements.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Supporting REPAY’s Sales team through sales presentations and product demonstrations in helping prospects and customers understand what is technically possible with REPAY.

·       Understanding the customer user requirements and communicate how REPAY can solve their business and technical challenges.

·       Planning and executing end-to-end integration(s), from high-level architecture down to code implementation.

·       Creating technical content to show customers how to implement specific use cases or best practices.

·       Educating users and the developer community about REPAY’s value proposition, best practices, and new technical developments.

·       Work closely with customers to analyze their technical requirements and design solutions that address their unique challenges.

·       Stay current with industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies. Share insights with the sales and product teams to contribute to the continuous improvement of our offerings.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and engineering, to gather and communicate customer feedback, provide technical insights, and drive product enhancements.

·       Maintaining an expertise and depth of knowledge on all REPAY Channels and supporting technology to effectively communicate to internal stakeholders and merchants the functionality and benefits of REPAY’s payments technology.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

·       3+ years of Merchant Services / Payments Industry experience preferred

·       5+ years of dedicated service delivery / consultancy and presales deployment

·       Previous experience working with different ERP systems strongly preferred (Acumatica, MS Dynamics, Sage, etc.)

·       Salesforce experience for managing workflow, status reporting and client ticketing

·       Ability to work in a ticket and metrics driven environment

·       API technology

·       Familiar with JIRA

·       Strong technical acumen and the ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly

·       A strong customer centric advocate and technical generalist

·       Empathetic, collaborative, communicative, consultative

·       Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical details in a clear and concise manner

·       Customer-centric mindset with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers

·       Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to design solutions that meet customer needs

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, Engineering or Computer Science preferred
