Position Summary:

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to become part of a passionate team and to contribute to the growth of an early-stage biotech company.  The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment, maintains flexibility, and demonstrates exceptional multi-tasking skills.  This critical role will serve as the primary day-to-day interface between the company, external thought leaders and executives and may also interact with service providers, vendors, and consultants. This position requires great attention to detail, organization, and professionalism.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to multiple C-level executives, including the CEO.
  • Organize and manage internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas, materials, and follow-up actions.
  • Plan and coordinate company events, board meetings, and off-site activities.
  • Coordinating domestic and international travel: flights, accommodations, meals, ground transportation. 
  • Proactively manage calendars for internal meetings, board sessions, and sub-committee commitments.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and overall workplace experience.
  • Coordinate activities and programs that foster a positive and inclusive company culture.

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting senior level executives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with at least 3 years supporting C-level executives.
  • Experience in start-up environment strongly preferred; biotech/ pharma experience will be favorably considered.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint along with experience setting up systems and databases. 
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and perform a wide range of tasks including working with confidential information.  

* The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in South San Francisco, CA is $115,000 to $125,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Terremoto Biosciences, is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
