Role Summary
Church & Dwight is looking for a passionate and talented Digital Strategy Manager to join our newly established Digital Strategy team within the Digital Growth function. This role is responsible for holistic full-funnel digital strategy and deployment to impact consumers across all points of the digital journey (inclusive of digital media, search, social, influencer, CRM, website, etc). The Digital Strategy Manager serves as a strategic leader, owning digital planning and aspects of the implementation process for their assigned Business Unit. This role requires strategic planning and amplification of major campaigns and product launches in partnership with brand teams and key agency partners.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Be key centralized resident expert for digital touchpoints and platforms and ensure data-driven holistic content strategy is utilized across the digital ecosystem (i.e. Social, Search, Video/Programmatic, Owned).
- Maintain expertise in evolving best practices across digital and media platforms, hone platform insights related to category and brands to elevate performance. Champion adherence to best practice across agency and internal brand partners.
- Collaborate with cross functional team members around digital touchpoints (EBMs/Retail Media/Shopper Marketing/Synergy Web Projects) to ensure alignment and consistency of consumer digital experience, as well as shared learnings.
- Collaborate with Measurement Team to provide meaningful, actionable quarterly wraps. Based on prior quarter results, provide quarterly recommendations for paid digital spend adjustments.
- Attending brand flex meetings and conversation to make sure digital strategy are developed in line with brand strategy and competitive intelligence.
- Translate brand strategy to digital strategy in an executional tactics and deliver on them with cross-functional teams (Brand, E-comm, and IT etc.) and agency partners (media/creative).
- Each Manager leads the strategy and execution of corporate tentpoles for SBU (e.g. NYNY, Spring Cleaning, BTS, Holiday, Baby). Should tentpole span multiple SBUs, a lead will be assigned for clarity of responsibility and non-lead will support.
- Imbed learning agenda, aligned with Analytics Team, into SBU teams via always-on digital test & learns.
- Analyze data and recommend changes to existing strategies to improve performance.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of direct reports.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree Required, MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years related experience – Marketing, Digital Marketing/Media, social media.
- Solid track record for developing and leading high performing teams and broad digital programs.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous community management experience is a plus.
- Strong time management and organization skills; able to prioritize and manage multiple brands and projects.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, energetic and matrixed environment.

Tech Skill
- Evaluate and decide which tech and vendor to leverage to stay ahead of curve.
- Solid understanding of CMS platforms, social media analytics tools, ads manager platforms, media dashboards, SEO, SEM, email marketing tools, and affiliate marketing platforms,
- Understanding of Design Principles (UX/UI) and how to leverage Marketing Automation & CRM.
Leadership Skill
- Articulate What Success Looks Like for an SBU in digital space.
- Giving clear messages to stakeholders, team members and agency partners.
- Comfortable using disjointed set of data to tell a story and build recommendations.
- Adaptable and comfortable to changing priorities.
- Has a bias for action and is orientated towards achieving results.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and energetic environment.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills – knows who to involve and when to ensure successful execution.
