We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff (MTS) to join our Unified Pipeline team within the Internal Developer Platform group at our Chennai R&D center. This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about building scalable CI/CD systems and want to grow their expertise in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and developer productivity tooling.

As an MTS, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines and platform components. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that improve deployment velocity and reliability across the organization.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Build and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines
    Contribute to the development and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines using Harness and Jenkins, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Pipeline Optimization
    Implement improvements to reduce build and deployment times. Explore parallel execution strategies and caching mechanisms to enhance developer experience.
  • Cloud & Container Integration
    Assist in designing and managing Kubernetes deployment strategies (e.g., Canary, Blue/Green) and integrating pipelines with AWS infrastructure, especially EKS clusters.
  • Observability & Security
    Integrate monitoring tools into pipeline workflows and follow security best practices to ensure compliance and visibility into deployment health.
  • Hands-on Development
    Write and maintain pipeline code (e.g., GroovyYAML) and automation scripts. Troubleshoot issues and contribute to internal tooling.
  • Collaboration & Support
    Work with product teams, security, and NOC to understand deployment requirements and ensure the pipeline platform meets their needs.
  • Agile Participation
    Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

 

Education, Experience & Skills Required

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in software development or DevOps roles.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and commitment to high-quality, iterative delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Harness (Pipeline as Code, GitOps, deployment strategies)
    • Jenkins (Groovy, Shared Libraries, plugins)
    • Kubernetes (deployments, services, EKS)
    • AWS (EC2, EKS, IAM, S3)
    • Scripting (Python, Bash, Groovy)
    • Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
    • Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
