Job Description

DUTIES: Provide technical leadership in designing and developing new software and web applications; develop, maintain, and monitor AWS cloud-based platform infrastructure, including EKS clusters, EC2 machines, MSK clusters, and VPC; manage Kubernetes clusters; implement and automate infrastructure as code using Terraform; deploy and operate distributed systems and APIs using GitOps workflows; monitor subnets and networks within AWS; administer Linux servers; develop software using Python; drive the technical strategy for software services; maintain and monitor on-premise servers used for machine learning model development and training; designing and implementing platform architecture to be fault-tolerant, scalable, and highly-available; partner with researcher teams to ensure tooling and platforms satisfy their requirements and can support models from a CPU and memory perspective; ensure all infrastructure is compliant with Comcast security rules and regulations; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including evaluation plans, confluence pages, presentations, test results, technical manuals, formal recommendations, and reports; and design proof of concept solutions and contributing to studies to support future product or application development; perform code review; model use of best practices; improve best practices; and guide and mentor junior- and midlevel engineers. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and  five (5) years of experience developing, maintaining, and monitoring AWS cloud-based platform infrastructure, including EKS clusters, EC2 machines, MSK clusters, and VPC; managing Kubernetes clusters; implementing and automating infrastructure as code using Terraform; deploying and operating distributed systems and APIs using GitOps; monitoring subnets and networks within AWS; administering Linux servers; and developing software using Python.

SALARY: $150,051.00 to $160,000.00 per year

Compensation

Base Pay: $150,051.00
