As our Project Manager you will work within our Change team and report to our Global Head of Change. This is an exciting role where you will establish and maintain close relationships with all levels of Stakeholders across our Aegon Asset Management business, understanding and supporting a roadmap of change initiatives to deliver on their strategic goals. You will gain a great understanding of our wider business, having exposure and the chance to work alongside a wide range of areas and disciplines across our business.   

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with your stakeholders regarding priority, progress, constraints and challenges and actively share this with them to allow appropriate actions and decisions to be made.
  • Excel in being a change expert – you will align with the business owner of the change, facilitate in  the project delivery, challenge where required and provide guidance to remove obstacles that may impact progress to towards the end goal. You will collaborate seamlessly with partners to support a robust and effective internal or external change process.
  • Demonstrate strong adherence to change governance process and procedures, ensuring all budget and forecast information is current, whilst also supporting the business owner to manage items such as financials and associated approvals relating to your assigned initiatives.
  • You will maintain a high level of data quality, accuracy and timeliness understanding how data is used to manage and then report back on the portfolio.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and inclusive approach in the role and take ownership of personal development and the continuous enhancement and improvement of the entire change function – we are a function who strive in working closely together and always looking at ways we can improve!

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience leading project delivery in a heavily regulated Financial Services Change environment, with a dependence on technical resources.
  • Proven ability to understand business processes and issues, translating this into project success.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work alongside and communicate with various levels of leadership across an organisation.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in rapidly changing environment.
  • The ability to prioritize work under the pressures of deadlines and shifting demands of the business.
  • Extensive knowledge of appropriate Change methodologies and tools.
