Impact & contribution:
The Senior Insights Analyst delivers competitive advantage by identifying events at every touch point in which a customer, prospect or intermediary interacts with CBA, and works with internal business partners to define and deliver engaging and relevant responses to those events.
You are passionate about customers and the opportunity to build trust and customer advocacy through data-driven insights. 

You work with business, technology, Digital channel and Marketing stakeholders to deliver analytics, customer journeys and customer contact decisioning that will transform how the Business Bank engages with customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery projects for actionable insights and make strategic and tactical recommendations that highlight opportunities for achieving business goals.
  • Influence and contribute to Analytics assessment and planning, maintaining and ensuring alignment with the strategic direction for our analytics services, tools and platforms.
  • Proactively seek and champion improvement opportunities to build analytical thinking across the bank.
  • Review and perform advanced analysis and design, develop and implement models to help answer business questions.
  • Work within a sometimes-ambiguous business environment and help foster a culture of curiosity and ingenuity to solve problems.
  • Guide and mentor others on data and analytics techniques.  Probing to uncover what worked well and what additional data/insights could have assisted.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider analytics team to provide collective insight for stakeholders.
  • Work to technical standards, tooling, policies and guardrails for my Chapter.


Essential Skills:

  • The ability to be self-sufficient on complex project and plays the role of technical lead / product owner when required.
  • The ability to Identify gaps within the team and proactively seeks opportunity to improve the team.
  • The ability to align Chapters and A&I objectives.
  • The ability to set and enforce standards across the team.
  • Naturally curious and proactive senior analytics professional with deep technical expertise.
  • Advanced skills in one or several key Analytical skills such as SQL, SAS, Tableau, Power BI or other data analytical tools
  • Advanced analytical skills, able to work with complex data to deliver meaningful, relevant, actionable insights.
  • Can correctly analyse and interpret results and apply standard analytical techniques.
  • Ability to deliver high quality, accurate and on-time insights and analytics.
  • Good problem-solving skills, comfortable working in complex, challenging environments.
  • Strong written and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to groups.
  •  An ability to master new tools as required.
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Outcome orientated, persistence to challenge the status quo and deliver customer results.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.


Qualifications: Technical degree - B.E. or B.Tech. or equivalent or post-graduation degree in Computer Applications or IT or Business Administration.
