Job Summary:

The Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Business Development Marketing Associate will report directly to the VP of Marketing and work in a blended capacity supporting both the Sales (BD) and Marketing teams. The Associate will gain experience with identifying, contacting and nurturing leads in the sales funnel while using Marketing efforts to conduct outreach. Success for the Intern is defined as leveraging value propositions to initiate meaningful dialogue with leads and developing marketing content to address their pain points and engage interest in the acquisition process.
This is an excellent opportunity for the Associate to practice their sales and marketing skills while also learning how this combined skillset can be utilized for account-based marketing.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become familiar with M&A processes and procedures
  • Develop and conduct outbound email and call campaigns to leads/prospects in the sales funnel
  • Break into accounts and set up meetings for Senior Business Development Rep (SDR)
  • Maintain, defend, and grow our Salesforce database
  • Identify content gaps and develop marketing material to fill BD needs for addressing prospect pain points
  • Collaborate on a tactical contact strategy playbook for BDs as a guide to nurture and defend prospects in the sales funnel
