An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Industrial Solutions division for a global Supply Chain Project Manager.

DESCRIPTION:

The purpose of the role is to provide strategic leadership in evaluating, optimising, and executing global manufacturing and sourcing strategies that strengthen the company’s operational excellence, cost competitiveness, and supply chain resilience.  This role will drive enterprise-level decision-making on the balance between in-house manufacturing and external procurement, ensuring that global operations, financial outcomes, and strategic growth objectives are fully aligned, as well as lead complex, cross-functional initiatives, governs major programs, and acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on operational investments, risk, and performance optimisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Shape and execute global sourcing and manufacturing strategies that optimise cost, performance, and competitiveness
  • Drive initiatives that enhance profitability, efficiency, and sourcing resilience through data-driven insights, which includes leading high-impact, multi-region initiatives assessing manufacturing versus centralised sourcing strategies.
  • Oversee delivery of complex projects and ensure integration of new products, systems, or sourcing processes.
  • Ensure alignment across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, procurement, and operations, as well as serve as the central liaison between executive sponsors, global business units, and technical stakeholders.
  • Direct advanced cost and value modelling to assess total cost of ownership and lifecycle performance.
  • Lead governance forums to track program progress, risks, and financial performance against strategic KPIs.
  • Lead forecasting and revenue recognition frameworks to improve accuracy and transparency.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance.
  • Benchmark organizational performance against industry standards to sustain competitive advantage

YOUR PROFILE:

The successful Supply Chain Project Manager must be a self-starter, who can work proactively on their own but also as part of a wider collaborative team.  They will need to have a strategic mindset, with an enterprise perspective, as well as have strong knowledge of financial analysis and risk management.

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement qualification advantageous.
  • 3-5 years in a Supply Chain Manger role.
  • With 5+ years of experience in global supply chain or manufacturing strategy, typically within senior project/program management.
  • Proven success leading large-scale, multi-site projects with significant business and financial impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at the executive level and manage complex stakeholder networks.
