About the Role

The SVHM Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Project Manager- Enterprise Billing will be responsible for the design, build and implementation of an enterprise billing solution across SVHM. Additionally, as a part of the EMR team, you will participate in other local SVHM EMR implementation initiatives to support change management, training and overall EMR readiness at SVHM.

 Areas of responsibility include:

  • Review of current and future state requirements for an Enterprise Billing solution

  • Co-design of a future state solution based on stakeholder feedback and opportunities for operational improvement

  • Overall project management including management of governance, timelines and budget

Classification for this position will be a HS6 will be ($110,479 pro rata, per annum excluding super) + Salary Sacrifice

A Bit About You

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology or equivalent

  • Previous experience in managing projects within a healthcare setting

  • Demonstrated ability to work with different experts with multiple deliverables in a large scale fast paced environment across multiple locations

  • Ability to work on premise including travel to SVHM sites across Melbourne

  • Possesses a current Victorian Drivers License

  • Good inter-personal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • National Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a hospital finance department

  • Project management certification

About the EMR Program

St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) have committed to the implementation of a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) as part of their digital transformation journey. Working in collaboration with Grampians Health (GH), SVHM are completing a readiness assessment to explore the possibility of a shared EMR implementation. This will be an exciting opportunity to implement a single patient record that spans regional and metropolitan Victoria.

The SVHM EMR team will be a dedicated health service team responsible for the successful implementation of the shared EMR across all facilities within SVHM. The team will focus on health service readiness including change management, training and local systems readiness.
