The Engineer Intmd Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and development of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities:

  • Provides Infrastructure monitoring support to Citi hosted applications.
  • Collaborates with a global team of Infrastructure management and support team members in day-to-day activities.
  • Analyzes Application Infrastructure needs and converts them into Build Requirements Document.
  • Builds Linux servers for Middleware applications and AbInitio ETL applications.
  • Assists Citi Technology Infrastructure teams in procuring servers and VMs.
  • Tracks entire team’s Infra deliverables using JIRA.
  • Assists in implementing Vulnerability patches, DB upgrades, Continuity of Business testing.
  • Assists in deployment of Middleware apps on Tomcat, Apache httpd, NodeJS
  • Monitors health of Infrastructure components using AppDynamics
  • Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Middleware support, DevOps and AbInitio ETL tools
  • Expertise in at least one of the Linux-based Middleware tools – Tomcat, Apache httpd, NodeJS
  • Good knowledge of setting up Single Sign On (SSO) for Middleware Apps.
  • Capacity planning and Forecasting for Linux-based application servers is a must.
  • Experience with Ab Initio ETL tool – Application developer, Support or Admin role.
  • Ability to administer Ab Initio ETL Web products will be a plus – Metadata Hub, Control Center, QueryIT, ExpressIT, DCS.
  • Expertise with designing clustered application servers using VIPs and WLBs.
  • Good exposure working with Linux commands and shell scripts.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases will be a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication & collaborations skills, Ability to work in a global team.

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
