MongoDB’s mission is to empower innovators to create, transform, and disrupt industries by unleashing the power of software and data. We enable organizations of all sizes to easily build, scale, and run modern applications by helping them modernize legacy workloads, embrace innovation, and unleash AI. Our industry-leading developer data platform, MongoDB Atlas, is the only globally distributed, multi-cloud database and is available in more than 115 regions across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Atlas allows customers to build and run applications anywhere—on premises, or across cloud providers. With offices worldwide and over 175,000 new developers signing up to use MongoDB every month, it’s no wonder that leading organizations, like Samsung and Toyota, trust MongoDB to build next-generation, AI-powered applications.
We're searching for a dynamic Developer Advocate specializing in Python, specifically the Django framework, to join our Developer Relations team. As businesses increasingly adopt modern technology stacks, your role will involve championing our enterprise solutions, enabling developers in the Django and Python communities to leverage our platform effectively. Collaborating with a global team of skilled Developer Advocates, you will be pivotal in empowering developers to integrate advanced capabilities into their enterprise applications and solutions. If you're passionate about Django and Python and enjoy fostering vibrant developer ecosystems, join us in shaping the future of enterprise development.
Our Developer Relations team is distributed worldwide, and most of the group works remotely. This role can work from North America, South America, or Europe locations. Please check out our latest content and activity to see what our team is doing.
As an experienced developer, you have produced diverse technical content, including videos, blog posts, and conference talks, sharing insights, fostering discussions, and inspiring others to adopt best practices. Your passion lies in sharing knowledge and enabling fellow developers with cutting-edge technology.
With at least five years of experience in a technical role, preferably as a developer within an enterprise environment, you bring extensive expertise in Django and understand the challenges developers encounter at large organizations.
You might have some experience as a developer advocate or have been doing advocacy tasks and now looking to do it full-time. Although it is not mandatory, a general understanding of MongoDB would be a plus. Your contributions to open-source projects or collaborative platforms showcase your ability and eagerness to assist others in tackling innovative challenges.
As an effective communicator and educator, you can simplify complex concepts and facilitate understanding. While developing expertise in our enterprise solutions, you will appreciate the core capabilities of our platform, including its integration with enterprise languages.
Our team is built to work together, share knowledge, and help each other grow. You will work with others at all levels, supporting peer reviews, building demos, delivering sessions, and creating other content.
Above all, you should be genuinely passionate about enabling other developers to be more productive and successful in their day-to-day jobs.
