Job Title: Medical Rep for Primary Care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting your territory sales target for the products on promotion.

  • Promoting and presenting the value of GSK products in detail to the target audience, communicating key messages in a scientific manner to key stakeholders including doctors, pharmacists, nurses and other relevant healthcare professionals.

  • Achieve objectives by effectively communicating the value and appropriate use of the GSK Parma portfolio.

  • Build and maintain trusting and respectful relationships with healthcare professionals to ensure the promotion of GSK products and the company's image.

  • Proficient in using a multi-channel approach (doctor visit, digital channels, use of Brand Manager and/or Scientific Manager, among others) in the promotion of GSK products;

  • Reports to GSK information that he/she has gathered during the dialogue with the healthcare professional, including possible side effects and issues related to the quality of GSK Pharma and Medicines.

  • Work collaboratively with all functions to ensure a successful launch and/or continued promotion of GSK Pharma.

  • Develop and execute Action Plans for their territories collaboratively in line with the national strategy, approaching healthcare professionals in line with the company strategy and the individual needs of the stakeholder in order to execute relevant activities.

  • Ensure that all activities and plans are executed in accordance with the company's high standards of ethics and compliance and that all legal and regulatory requirements are applied.

Educational Background:

  • Academic degree in Life Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry and other life sciences).

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to foster relationships and effectively represent the company to relevant external stakeholders

Job-Related Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sales Representative

  • Experience as Medical Sales Representative will be considered advantageous

  • Proven scientific communication skills, which could be used in innovative company products

  • High level of knowledge in the use of modern information technology

  • Driving licence

  • Ability and willingness to work and travel as appropriate in a customer focused field-based position

  • Acquire and maintain permanently high levels of knowledge of the therapeutic areas and competitors.

  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing conditions in the external environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create strong and lasting professional relationships both internally and externally.

  • Track record of success in identifying high potential Clients in a given territory.

  • Ability to deal with complex environments and manage multiple activities and set priorities effectively.

  • Customer focus with a sense of urgency and resilience when overcoming obstacles.

  • Ability to effectively communicate relevant information to your manager and colleagues, seeking opinions and feedback where appropriate
