Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this role is to drive Manufacturing Excellence across all the Integer Manufacturing Facilities by designing and implementing sustainable systems that enable full engagement resulting in world-class operational performance in safety, quality, delivery, lead-time, and cost. Develop and deploy Lean manufacturing systems and strategy across Integer and support Product Category execution of continuous improvement. This role will support and mentor our Product Category Operations team of Manufacturing Site’s Continuous Improvement Leaders in the development of a Continuous Improvement culture and capability through leadership, expertise and collaboration. The Senior Director of Lean Strategy is expected to be an active member of the Product Category Operations team and work with all other Directors and staff to develop a world class lean manufacturing system through utilization of the Integer Production System. The expectation of this role is constantly strive to deliver quality products on time to our customers and drive profitable growth. They must demonstrate wholehearted support for business philosophies and strategies pursued by Integer and for Integer.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

· Adheres to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

· Ensure and maintain excellent employee relations to the standards required by Integer, including a variety of job-related tasks, which many not be specific to this position profile.

General:

· Develop the Integer Production System and deployment strategy.

· Develop and enhance relationships between subject matter experts through collaborative projects across product categories.

· Ensure best practice development and sharing across Integer.

· Play a leadership role in ensuring Integer becomes a world class leader in the area of Continuous improvement and Manufacturing Excellence.

· Develop in-depth familiarity with the Integer products and capabilities across the sites. Keep abreast of developing trends within industry in general and within the medical device industry in particular in order to identify incremental and disruptive improvement opportunities.

· Lead by example and promote the use of structured problem-solving methodology and decision-making based on sound data analysis.

· Ensure that lessons learned, and best practice are communicated and implemented across all Integer sites in a structured manner.

· Assist the Executive Vice President of Global Operations in all tasks required, including preparation of presentations. Develop a reporting format suitable for presenting the work to the senior leadership team.

· Communicate and work with people inside and outside the function while at all times using excellent interpersonal skills and presenting a professional and courteous image of Integer.

· Ability to travel to internal and external customer sites as needed and manage multiple projects across multiple sites and time zones.

· Eliminate non-value adding activities within the sites. Concentrate efforts on the increasing of throughput, reduction of inventory and reduction of operating expenses.

· Develop and coach Category and Site teams

· Performs other duties as required.

Education & Experience:

· Minimum Education: Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent.

· Minimum Experience: Minimum of 10 - 12 years of experience in a senior level role for a fast-paced manufacturing industry.
