DIVISION FUNCTION/OBJECTIVE:
To promote and market Abbott's EPD pharmaceutical products in Taiwan and maintain constant business growth and profitability in an ethical manner complying with all local relevant laws and Abbott's code of business conduct.
POSITION PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This role involves establishing, directing, and coordinating marketing activities for one or more products or product lines. The responsibilities include coordinating market-oriented activities such as advertising, public relations, and strategy implementation to achieve product marketing objectives. The person in this role carries out market research, evaluates sales performance, and reviews or formulates plans, programs, goals, and objectives to develop optimum market penetration of the products and oversees execution of the same. This role monitors competitive products in the market and provide marketing strategy inputs and needs to recommend program development and enhancements based on customer and sales force feedback. This role acts as a liaison between sales personnel and regional/global marketing/medical staff. The person in this role supports sales representatives by providing strategy, necessary data for product demonstrations to sales personnel, and training. To handle product-related problems with customers as required and to support the sales force and customers on all matters related to the products. This role also organizes and coordinates product training for employees and promoters and makes presentations at sales meetings and customer locations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and implement plans to achieve the company's vision, objectives, and divisional mission and strategies.
2. Monitor division performance, gather customer and sales feedback, and propose adjustments to strategic plans and tactics. Meet annual goals for sales, margin, market share, and expense budget.
3. Lead in the development of local marketing objectives and strategies, and ensure successful execution. Evaluate opportunities for new products and market development.
4. Define clear and specific priorities for new marketing programs and enhancements by defining customer needs and collaborating with internal functional teams.
5. Increase sales through innovative commercial programs, opinion leader development, and patient education.
6. Develop annual sales volume and sales forecasts, pricing, and expense budgets. Analyze market trends, project future growth, maintain demand forecasts, and participate in supply reviews to identify requirements and meet the demand from customers.
7. Monitor division performance, customer and sales feedback, and use market research and third-party vendors to achieve marketing aims.
8. Participate in sales promotion planning, develop advertising for existing products, and determine market strategies and sales tactics to achieve product, revenue, and share objectives.
9. Manage the assigned budget effectively and ensure all business activities comply with Abbott's Codes of Business Conduct, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
10. Complete required training before performing tasks, follow established policies and procedures, and request clarification when necessary.
11. Understand digital marketing and channels to implement activities that support business growth in different promotional mix.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related medical field is preferred.
