JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Oracle Enterprise Asset Manager Developer is the IT resource responsible for working closely with various business departments and business analysts/functional team members, in designing and building scalable solutions using industry best practices. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their business needs and providing expert guidance on the best practices for leveraging Oracle EAM to optimize asset management processes.

The Senior Oracle Enterprise Asset Manager Developer will be responsible for the development, implementation, and support of Oracle EAM solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle EAM, strong technical skills, and the ability to lead projects from conception through to implementation. Conduct workshops and training sessions for end users to ensure effective use and adoption of Oracle EAM.

This role requires a deep understanding of asset management processes, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and participate in Oracle EAM implementation projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing (50%)
  • Provide Production Support day to day issues (30%)
  • Lead Virtual training and user group meetings for EAM user Group (10%)
  • Performs other duties as they might be assigned (10%)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering or related field preferred
  • Minimum of ten years of experience with Oracle applications, with three years working with Oracle Enterprise Asset Management as a technical lead
  • Minimum of five years in a technical lead role

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Experience leading full life cycle of Enterprise Asset Management Implementations.  Must have strong functional understanding of maintenance lifecycle using EAM
  • Deep understanding of the work order process including preventative maintenance, asset hierarchy configuration and rebuildables.
  • Strong knowledge of software development principles, processes, concepts, and techniques
  • Proven track records implementing and support Oracle EAM in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with maintenance personnel
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Command Center Dashboards and mobile maintenance applications a plus
  • Working knowledge of typical IT organization and business units
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI a plus.
  • Experience working in a sprint-driven, Agile project environment and traditional waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with vendors and teams in different time zones
  • Must be able to work in USA or Canada
  • Knowledge of Steel Industry a huge plus
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment across business functions
